While “those who can’t” are passing laws about teaching – and taking money away from our schools – those who can are finding new ways to unlock the mysteries of math, science, reading and other subjects young people must master to succeed in the 21^st century.

In Michigan, we’re not waiting for a comic-book hero to save the day in our schools.

We have REAL heroes working every day to ensure students get a great education. From the classroom to the bus route to the bargaining table to the community, unionized teachers and education support professionals are making a difference.
